Material Manager for the Supply Section

FMTIS Technical and Maintenance Office Command Systems (TVK Ledsyst) is responsible for the overall management of the Swedish Armed Forces' command and information systems, and serves as the Armed Forces' purchaser of system management, operation, and maintenance in the area. The unit is growing, and new tasks are being added gradually.

TVK Ledsyst has its main operations located in Enköping and is functionally led by the Armed Forces Headquarters. The unit's task is to take responsibility for the Armed Forces' command support systems throughout their life cycle, from development to decommissioning, during peace, crisis, and war.

Main Responsibilities

As a material manager in the Supply Section, your task is to:

  • Using the support systems LIFT and SAP, supply the peace organization and military units with command, communication, and signal protection equipment.
  • Administer the units' needs in our support systems and allocate existing materials.
  • Distribute new materials according to the distribution plan from the delivery certificate.
  • Establish availability analyses when needs for reprioritization arise.
  • Assign command and communication materials to all military units.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Relevant education at least at the three-year upper secondary level.
  • Several years of relevant experience in supply and/or logistics from the Armed Forces or the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration.
  • Good ability to communicate in speech and writing in Swedish.
  • Driving license B.

You are loyal, reliable, considerate, and a sincere team player.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

DESIRABLE

  • Experience with the Armed Forces' support systems LIFT.
  • Experience with the Armed Forces' support systems IDA, TIA GoF, and TeamCenter.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Military basic training.

  • Employment form: Permanent. The Armed Forces applies a 6-month initial probationary period for those who are not already employed by the authority.
